Southern Frontenac Community Services
Supports seniors, adults with physical disabilities and families in need in South Frontenac communities. They have care support services, grief share support, food bank for families/individuals, Grace Garden filled with fresh produce in season, Diners club for seniors and so much more.

We also support the Food Bank by receiving food items on the first Sunday of every month in connection with Communion Sunday.
CAP (Community Assistance Program)
HFMC has set aside resources to help people within our catchment area during those times of unexpected financial challenge. Working independently or in conjunction with Southern Frontenac Community Services we want to resource and lend a hand during some of those stressful times.

Send a Kid to Camp
Send a Kid to Camp is a ministry of HFMC designed to help families, who may have financial constraints, to send their children and youth to Free Methodist affiliate camps at Wesley Acres and Echo Lake.
Wesley Acres camps operate on a three-way partnership to financially support families. HFMC will contribute one third, Wesley Acres contributes one third and the family pays one third of the camp cost for their child. For Echo Lake, HFMC would pay one third and the family would pay two thirds.

Cross Cultural Ministry Experience
At HFMC we believe that taking the message of God’s love and forgiveness to all nations is part of the mission and heart of Christ. As a church we want to encourage and support our people to be part of various cross cultural ministry experiences. With an emphasis on helping our senior teens and young adults to have opportunities to be involved in short term, cross cultural ministries we allocate resources to help support them.

Bring Back The Buffalo
Tearfund is affiliated with the Free Methodist Church in Canada. Tearfund’s “Bring back the Buffalo” project is part of a multi-generational reconciliation process, with roots that were established eight years ago.
Partnering with an Indigenous ministry called Loko Koa, the aim is to facilitate the return of the buffalo back to their traditional lands of the Prairies First Nations.
The goal of this project will be to build sustainable buffalo herds on First Nations land. They will help restore cultural identity and provide food for their own people. It will be more than a “project,” but the start of building long-term relationships.

Haiti Food Fund
By giving money to ICCM’s Haiti Food Fund we are providing school lunches to thousands of children in this profoundly undernourished population. The global food crisis has hit Haiti very hard. Our contribution will enable us to continue to feed the 20,000+ students attending the 53 schools ICCM operate in Haiti.

Judah and Jessie Rath
Judah and Jessie are credentialed missionaries in Columbia. They are approved for service beyond Free Methodist Church in Canada and are employed by Latin America Mission Canada. Their mission is based on camp ministries where they disciple and educate youth of all backgrounds as well as under resourced mothers. They would appreciate your prayers and welcome anyone to follow their journey.

Kernels of Hope
This system is a beautiful and practical way to show God’s love to others.
How it works –
- Our donation provides seeds and supplies to farm an acre of land in Canada.
- A Canadian farmer grows crops, sells them and donates the proceeds (approx. $500) to Tearfund Canada.
- Your funds are doubled. Every dollar donated to Tearfund’s account is matched by the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. These funds are sent to farmers abroad.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, they partner with the local church worldwide. Each November we provide special shoe boxes that you can pack with gifts/toys. The boxes then begin their journey.

Safe Water
By giving money to ICCM’s Safe Water initiative we are providing families and schools in other countries with water free of harmful bacteria. ICCM will also provide education regarding proper use and maintenance to ensure lasting results.
Our donation provides a portable water filter which purifies water to be cleaner than most water sold at retail, and will last a Lifetime.
